Kathy Marcuson is a retired teacher with a passion for education that spanned over three decades. From ages 6 to 80, she devoted herself to shaping the minds of students, leaving an indelible impact on their lives. Initially, Kathy taught at the elementary level for 15 years, instilling a love for learning in her young pupils. Recognizing the evolving role of technology, she acquired a computer endorsement, allowing her to teach computer classes to Middle School students and instruct adults in computer night classes for 17 years. Embracing the diverse age groups she taught, Kathy found immense joy in every moment of her teaching career.
Born and raised in Indiana, Kathy, alongside her husband Jeff, has cherished their lifelong connection to the state, driven by their love for family and appreciation of the changing seasons. Besides their deep-rooted ties to Indiana, Kathy and Jeff are also avid antique dealers, uncovering treasures of the past and sharing their passion with others. This collection of holy prayer cards came from many years of collecting for this “cradle Catholic”. As a mother of two adult children and a grandmother to four grandchildren, Kathy’s family holds a special place in her heart.
